What’s Your Purpose?

Sitting in my room I often ponder

Looking back at my life, I sometimes wonder,

What is the cause of my existence?

Why does the world need my presence?

 

I Don’t Want

I don’t want my planet to be what it is –

With all the pollution and the global warming,

With  the extinct species and  the trees that are falling.

With all the dwindling habitat and receding  glaciers,

With  the natural calamities  and a future full of fears.

In the gist of my dreams,

In the core of my heart,

In the blood through my veins,

In every breath I take-

 I think of you my love;

I search for you my dove.

 

The Curse Named Child Labour

The hands which were to be soft and tender,

Were ruthlessly exploited by members of both the genders.

The eyes which were to be polite and innocent,

Were sold young to save a lonely cent.

The faces which were to be fresh and pure,

Were left to stink without any cure.
